Despite Joe Root's resilience, England succumbed to the relentless pressure, and R Ashwin clinched a well-deserved 5-fer in his 100th Test match. England was bowled out for 195, leading to India's triumph by an innings and 64 runs.

The young Indian opener, Yashasvi Jaiswal, emerged as the "PLAYER OF THE SERIES" for his stellar batting performances throughout. With an outstanding tally of 712 runs, Jaiswal's consistency and aggressive approach set him apart. Notably, he outshone all other batsmen, with none reaching the 500-run mark. 3. Player of the Match - Kuldeep Yadav
