Despite his dismissal soon after, the onslaught continued as Aiden Markram and Heinrich Klaasen joined forces to propel SRH's total to an unprecedented 287 runs, setting a new record in IPL history.

Facing the daunting task of chasing down a mammoth total, RCB's openers launched a spirited counterattack. Their aggressive approach saw them pile on the runs, reaching 79-0 by the end of the powerplay. However, Virat Kohli's dismissal triggered a collapse, with RCB losing wickets at regular intervals.
4. Dinesh Karthik's Heroics:
Despite the setbacks, RCB's wicketkeeper-batsman, Dinesh Karthik, played a stellar innings, scoring a blistering 83 runs off just 35 balls. His valiant effort, supported by contributions from the lower-middle order, kept RCB in the hunt.
5. SRH Emerges Victorious:
In the end, RCB fell short by 25 runs, with SRH emerging victorious in the run-fest. The win propelled SRH to fourth place in the points table, while RCB's playoff hopes suffered a setback, having lost six out of their seven games.
6. Playoff Hopes for RCB:
With the playoffs now a distant target, RCB faces an uphill battle, needing to win at least six of their remaining seven games to stay in contention for a playoff spot.
